30th December, 2006 New Meza Virs album out now

It's taken them forever to do it, but all that hermiting and isolation has finally paid off as Meza Virs officially launched their first full-length album on 21/12/06. And I must say it sounds great!

The sound has gone from black metal to a more dark symphonic metal, with overtones of the Lacuna Coil and Evanescence (first album, not the silly second album) sound, and it's awesome. It definitely doesn't sound like a shitty demo recorded in someone's basement with a four-track and a webcam microphone.

30th December, 2006 Geek Cosplay fantasies

Well we finally put up a new poll, and it's about Geek Cosplay fantasies. Geeks would automatically know what the term cosplay refers to (for those who don't, it's Costume Play... ie "Let's dress up like our favorite anime and videogame characters, and have a legitimate reason to cross-dress"), and thus will probably need no introductions to the various costumes mentioned.

However, a small small SMALL percentage of you reading this might not actually be geeks, so here's a quick reference table for you. Then vote in the poll (you can find it in the main page).

	Japanese schoolgirl An old favorite, the Japanese schoolgirl sailor uniform is the epitome of rice fetishes.		Lara Croft, Tomb Raider Gaming icon that walks the fine line between female empowerment and total sexploitation. A Cosplay favorite, based on the pics on the net.
	Night Elf, World of Warcraft The WoW phenomenon has made regular elves like Arwen less hot these days. Pointy ears aren't enough anymore, you need to be blue to be hot!		Mai Shiranui, King of Fighters The ninja princess of the KoF games probably invented the concept of jiggly boobs in videogame characters.
	Spandex Babes, X-Men For many geeks, comics will probably be their first sexual awakenings, as female superheroes are usually practically naked.		Pikachu, Pokemon Sexualizing a giant plushy character is just pretty wrong, but apparently it happens.
	Kasumi, Dead or Alive Another ninja princess, Kasumi is the lead character in the game that took jiggly boobs to the next level: fully rendered 3D graphics with real-time physics.		Lulu, Final Fantasy X Geeks and goth culture seems to overlap a lot, so it's no reason that geeks love the gothy Lulu from FFX.

Princess Leia, Star Wars Now here's a perennial favorite. Star Wars is the biggest geek movie franchise ever, and the most sexual part of it is definitely the scene in Jabba's palace where Leia is captured and forced into her slave outfit, consisting of a metal bikini and not much else. 30th December, 2006 Eff and Deadpan @ Home

On Christmas Eve, we got to screen Eff's animations and some of our videos at Home Club as part of the Interpop gig. So yeah, that was pretty cool. The Deadpan videos screened were Drew Kombat, *NSkate Version 3, Mountains (Neek B'day mix) and The Fourth Place.

Props to Shaun and Daniel for letting us pimp our wares!

When it comes to free entertainment, there's nothing like reading up on what your favorite celebrity has said to embarrass themselves. And Paris Hilton and K-Fed are two people who NEVER fail to amuse. Here are some choice pieces that I've stumbled upon:

5th October, 2006 Woog hit 1 million???

I just heard about Woog hitting the 1 million downloads mark, and there's one big important thing I have to say to the snobby fuck hole who was too good to shake our hands:

In your face, ass-maggot! Our cheap-assed production just ripped assholes out of your overpriced piece of shit. Have fun screening your new short film to your fellow pretentious ass-kissers... all seventeen of them. Justify your budget to your sponsors after that weak-assed turn out, you egotistical little shit.

3rd October, 2006 Woog hits 1 million downloads

It's pretty insane if you think about it, but if you add up all the times Woog has been downloaded from Warcraftmovies.com, YouTube and Google Video, and of course, our site, then the numbers kinda adds up to over a million now.

Yep, that's right. Over 1,000,000 people around the world has watched Woog, and the numbers are still going up every single day. I keep checking the net, and more and more guild forums and other WoW-related sites are still posting links to the video up, so that's just amazing.

I can't believe it, Drew can't really believe it... and that guy in his workplace that thinks of himself as a genuine film-maker (but in reality just has his head up his own ass... which is kinda more uncomfortable since he has a preference for wearing silly goth-hats) will probably drown himself in denial if he hears about it.

Much thanks to everyone out there who has taken the five or so minutes to sit down and watch our humble video, and didn't immediately write a comment demanding their five minutes back afterwards (speaking of which, I think Chris updated the Hatemail page).

Well, taking a camera out and acting like a bunch of idiots over a weekend can really bring some smiles to a lot of people around the world. We're too busy to do much these days, but you guys should all go out there and make some funny shit, especially with all those new video phones out there. It only takes a couple of days, but the after effects could last a helluva long time!
