Vasquez

There was once a little budgie who loved to watch people. She loved to watch them interact with each other and was fascinated by the different ways they chose to express or hide their emotions. However, one cold winter's night, she froze to death while huddled under a dumpster. The last thing she heard before her heart stopped was the sound of some wigga's CD player pumping out Ja Rule endlessly on repeat.

But the budgie refused to let go of this world, and fought to remain in the Material Plane of existence. Each passing moment weakened her essence but she remained resolute and refused to pass over to the Other Side, even at the risk of fading into nothingness.

One day she met Chris, who took a liking to this tenacious undead spirit and adopted her as his Familiar. He named her "Vasquez" (after his favorite character in Aliens) and taught her how to consume human souls in order to sustain her connection to this plane of existence.

Vaz and Chris now lead a symbiotic existence with one another: Vaz acts as Chris' scout and locates possible victims for his blood-thirst (Chris has very particular tastes when it comes to victims), and in return she is able to consume the souls of Chris' victims as he quenches his thirst with their blood. It's a convenient arrangement for both parties and they've been traveling together ever since, hunting their food together.

Vaz hopes that they would bump into Ja Rule someday so she can feast on his soul and silence him forever. In the meantime, Vaz spends her time checking out tabloids and people-watching. Oh the joys of being an undead wraith-bird!
