Trivia

  • Due to the sketchy and bitchy nature of the video, a "Radio Edit" was made with many of the more offensive scenes and dialogue cut out for my uni lecturers. Among the more sketchy bits were bitchy lines about some of my classmates that I disliked, and of course, my uni lecturers. I also had to cut some lines about menstruation, because normal biological functions apparently offend people.
  • The title "An Undergraduate Romp" comes from a derogatory comment made by my uni lecturer about Psychotic Mood Swings. I grew quite fond of the term, and used it several times. Obviously, he didn't appreciate this and gave me shit about it. Did I mention my lecturer is a tight-assed bitch with a retarded looking pony-tail?
  • Megan quotes a "Master Ming-Na" as saying "If film have worst quality story, you make up for it with best quality ass". This is a reference to The Joy Luck Club. As I recall, it goes: "You eat worst quality crab, because you have best quality heart."
  • There are a couple of times where the actors pronounce "homage" in a peculiar manner (and Megan emphasizes that by pronouncing "beverage" in a similar manner). And as much as the actors sound like retards when they pronounce it the way they do, it's exactly how a lot of people in Hollywood pronounce it.
  • The "Construction Yard in Minnesota" is really just a derelict piece of shit across the road from where I live. Dave and I had to sneak into it, as it's usually fenced up to keep the bums out.
  • I really did hit the dean of my uni with a yoyo once. It was an accident. Seriously. I didn't even know it was the dean. I still don't know who the dean is.
  • The statement that Alex Mesker took three months to compose the soundtrack was an in-joke, because in reality he had it completed in one weekend.
  • There are a couple of references to teapots. During uni assessments, I once had to sit there and watch a fellow student's work which was essentially three cameras pointed at a teapot for 25 minutes. I hated this work, and resented the fact that it received a lot less criticism than PMS (that, and I just thought that she was a pretentious bitch). I've been bitching about the teapot work ever since. Shit, I'm kinda petty, aren't I?
  • Since UGR, the squishy eyeball prop has been officially named "Pedro the Eyeball". He appears again in The Fourth Place.
  • Megan uses the word "like" 71 times during the video.
