Nate's Totally Dope Skate Video is more than just a regular "Sponsor me" video made by amateur skaters to send out to skating shops and companies in order to land a sponsorship deal. It's actually a coming of age tale of epic proportions, with tragedy, romance and iconoclastic wit all wrapped into the same package.
Okay, maybe not... but it's definitely not just a regular skate video made by a bunch of amateurs to impress their friends and land sponsorship deals. A lot of time and effort has gone into this video to ensure that it is watchable not only by elitist skaters and wannabes, but also your average schmoe off the street who thinks a Noseblunt is a joint that you smoke through your nostrils.
The end result is a pretty untraditional skate video cut to some hardcore crazy electronic music... and watching it can probably send most senior citizens into an epileptic fit faster than playing Sonic the Hedgehog.
2007 update: I had to redo it and make a Version 4, cut to a new song so that it would be screenable at McDonald's on the At-Life plasma TV screens.
