Amy is a depressive
goth who spends all her time pining for her ex-boyfriend. She relates
her life to a never-ending TV series with a script-writer hell-bent
on writing trauma into her life, and escapes reality by hiding in
isolated places and listening to her walkman.
Josh is a melancholic
skater who despite having lots of friends and lovers, still finds
himself unable to develop any kind of emotional attachment to anybody.
Feeling misunderstood and disconnected from the world, he seeks
escapism by skating in secluded locations to be alone with his thoughts.
When the two meet up
by chance, they develop a strange non-interactive friendship that
could help each other overcome their respective emotional obstacles.
